The International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) held their IPF World Open Powerlifting Championships in Dubai, UAE on the 17-23rd November. UTS was invited to power up with IPF to deliver a forum which was to be the first ever making history for the IPF Family. During October 18th-27th the World Minigolf Federation held their 16th WMF Minigolf World Championships in Kushan, China. Nestled close to the Ancient Water Town Zhouzhuang, the WMF Championships, with the support of Invengo Network Industrial Park Co., Ltd worked together to not only develop the sport in the region but also promote social responsibility through the sport of Minigolf. With the sun shining brightly over beautiful Antalya, Turkey, between the 28th – 6th of October, the IFMA family along with over 600 youths from 75 countries shared their stage with us for the IFMA 2019 World Youth Muaythai Championships. United Through Sports was thrilled to assist in coordinating the social elements of the championships with activities for the young athletes including; Rise and Grind, the Eco-Awarness Beach Cleanup and the first edition of IFMA Stars On The Rise Talent Show, which saw many young athletes share their gifts beyond the ring. A milestone was reached with the signing of a memorandum of understanding between United Through Sports and the World Martial Arts Masterships Committee to combine efforts in using the power of sports towards the benefit for the youth of the world. The 27th August 2019 will go in the history books between Sepaktakraw and UTS as they consolidated their partnership by signing a memorandum of understanding as part of the Septakraw Kings Cup Tournament 2019 in Bangkok. UTS and ISTAF have already been working together with unified goals leading up to the SportAccord Convention 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand.
