A Big Day for Aero Fit! The Aero Fit competition was a big hit on the live stream with some amazing performances and it is time to announce the finalists! The Final in the Youth Under 10 Division will be between the International Cheer Union and the International Federation of Muaythai Associations. Congratulations to you! The Aero Fit Under 12 Finals will be between two International Cheer Union teams. The UTS World Virtual Youth Festival 2020 made a decision to adjust the announcement of all finalists for the 19 December. On behalf of UTS we would like to thank all the youth from around the world who have participated in the competitions, workshops, and the opening ceremony. There has been an overwhelming number of incredible entries for the talent shows, exceeding all expectations. The official opening of the United Through Sports World Virtual Youth Festival 2020 took place in Bangkok as the host of the event in a special gala night hosted by Thailand’s IOC Member, Khunying Patama Leeswadtrakul.The Youth Festival brought together over 100 organizations in celebration of United Nations World Children’s Day. The 5-day event under patronage of the IOC, IPC, SOI and many others lay under the slogan “One Spirit, One Heart” standing for inclusion, equality and nondiscrimination. The 2020 United Through Sports World Virtual Youth Festival Competition programme has entered Day 1 with the Preliminaries starting in all competitions in which athletes will enter the final program which will be aired on the United Through Sports Website. Youth from all sports including social projects will advance to the final competition rounds.We wish all the Youth best of luck for the competitions which began immediately after the Opening ceremony. Youth from around the world stood in solidarity for the Opening of the UTS Festival. Bangkok was the host and cities from as far as Washington to Abu Dhabi to Los Angeles to Ekaterinburg to Astana to the Gold Coast, all took center stage with a united voice for inclusion, equality, nondiscrimination and for peace. IOC President, Thomas Bach, applauded United Through Sports for this initiative.
