Youth from around the world stood in solidarity for the Opening of the UTS Festival. Bangkok was the host and cities from as far as Washington to Abu Dhabi to Los Angeles to Ekaterinburg to Astana to the Gold Coast, all took center stage with a united voice for inclusion, equality, nondiscrimination and for peace. The third workshop on the eve of the Opening of the UTS World Virtual Youth Festival was hosted by the IPC titled “I’mpossible and the Paralympic Movement.” The participating numbers again reached the 2000 mark from all 5 continents showcasing that the youth of the world stand united for inclusion, equality and nondiscrimination, which are the tenets of the Festival. A record number of over 2200 attendees participated in the United Through Sports Workshop #2 on “Clean Sport” presented by WADA and ITA. The Workshop was open for all the youth of participating organizations, their friends and teammates and their entire athlete support personnel. Entire families joined from their living rooms, students from their lecture halls in universities and school classrooms, generating an overall huge online number. Bangkok, Thailand – Over 100 international federations and organizations have come together united to showcase and promote inclusion, equality, non-discrimination and peace. Together they support the United Through Sports (UTS) World Virtual Youth Festival 2020 which is organized by United Through Sports. Amongst the organisations are the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) and Special Olympics International (SOI) who have all granted patronage to the event. A crowd of over 1000 Sporting Youth leaders supporting the first United Through Sports Festival Workshop: “BECOMING A SUCCESSFUL CHANGE LEADER IN YOUR COMMUNITY THROUGH SPORT” The workshop was presented by Yunus Sport Hub and IOC Youth Leaders.
