FRANCISCA NÚÑEZ PINTO, ANTONIA MONTENEGRO CAVIEDES and JERALDY STOLZENBACH PEREIRA, REPRESENT HAPTOOKI MU SOOL AND CHILE IN UTS VIRTUAL COMPETITION.
Haptooki Mu Sool selected
U18 athletes who are
participating in the competition organised by United Through Sports (UTS), an
organisation that is an alliance of many people and organisations working
together through sport to bring inclusion, equality and unity to the world.
It is an organisation who work with the International Olympic Committee, the International Paralympic Committee and the Special Olympics to ensure no youth are left behind.
The competition invites young people to share a day in their life in a 1 minute video to show how they practice sport and physical exercise, as well as share their interests and hobbies. They are encouraged to show something about their day that is really important to them and their reason behind its importance.
This competition encourages creativity, physical activity and positive mental health.
With the current inactivity of many youth around the world during such unprecedented times, keeping youth active is paramount. Encouraging youth to use their social media to share, to connect and keep proactive is important more now than ever before.
The competition will close 30June.
All youth U18 are invited to share a day in their life and use our hashtag #WYD2021.
