United Through Sports (UTS) is an alliance of many organisations and people working together through sports, to bring inclusion, unity and equality to the world.

UTS brings people together working towards unified goals which place youth at the centre. Together we take positive steps forward towards reducing challenges including discrimination and inequality.

We organise different events in which youth, sport and education are central. We unite to ensure that every child has an opportunity on the playing field of life.

Muaythai under IFMA, the sole recognized International Federation for the art and sport of muaythai gave the honour of their Asian Championships 2019 to the capital city of UAE, Abu Dhabi. The championship ran from 17th-21stDecember bringing 35 Asian countries to participate at the event showcasing the strength of Asia and the continued growth of muaythai. The esteemed championship brought 183 seniors and 120 youth to the city where Abu Dhabi Sports Council and IFMA’s Tareq Al Muhairi, Championship Director welcomed all delegates on behalf of the UAE Muaythai Federation and its Chairman H.E. From the 10-12th Forte Lauderdale in Florida was the hub of the inaugural SportAccord Regional Convention. Leaders and key decision makers from the Pan American region came together to discuss, to learn, to exhibit, network and to share knowledge. Discussions were held to address directly hot topics in the sports world including: Social responsibility in sports, the future of International Federation Governance, a new perspective on Safeguarding Athletes amongst others. The International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) held their IPF World Open Powerlifting Championships in Dubai, UAE on the 17-23rd November. UTS was invited to power up with IPF to deliver a forum which was to be the first ever making history for the IPF Family. Coordinated by UTS CEO Julia Govinden and IPF Managing Director Emanuel Scheiber, the event began with a conference focusing on topics including: inclusivity across different abilities, Powerlifting as a sport for all, promoting Powerlifting as a means towards a healthy and active lifestyle and gender equality amongst other topics.
