HRH Minister of Sports: We all unite towards a better future for young people
Registration starts today at the Virtual International Festival
UTS World Virtual Youth Festival 2021

The registration for youth of all abilities under 18 years old starts today for the UTS World Virtual Youth festival 2021, which will be held from 20-27 November, with the participation of more than 100 international organizations and under the patronage of the International Olympic Committee, the International Paralympic Committee, and the Special Olympics.

This “united 4 the future” global campaign, hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, aims to emphasize the importance of keeping young people healthy and active. The objective to encourage unity around the world in the face of future challenges by encouraging a healthy lifestyle and prioritize a healthy body and mind through exercise.

Supporting this unique festival, His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki al-Faisal, Minister of sports and President of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee, said: “We are proud to host this great international virtual festival, where the kingdom is opening its doors again in the distinctive hosts by contributing to the interdependence of the whole world and improving the lifestyle of youth, in cooperation with the International Olympic Committee.”

The festival, which will last over a week will witness amongst its many events, the celebration of the United Nations World Children’s Day with the participation of young people across continents. The activities will include: Max Fit, Aero Fit, Talent, IPC’s All-inclusive challenge and the Special Olympics Unified Fitness Challenge.

The festival also includes an education program, which is a key element of the festival, with four live workshops, seven conferences discussing international topics via interactive sessions.

The launch and closing ceremonies have invited young people of all abilities from all over the world to perform as well as support from Olympic host cities that will unite the sport community towards the future.
