UTS brings people together working towards unified goals which place youth at the centre. Together we take positive steps forward towards reducing challenges including discrimination and inequality.

Chengdu, China – Beyond the realm of competition, FISU actively nurtures the potential of young journalists through their Young Reporters Program. This year 12 international Young Reporters as well as 12 coming from China were selected and invited to the University World Games to support the competitions on all FISU platforms. Kampala, Uganda – In a remarkable step towards fostering a more inclusive world, Heer Hitesh Usadadiya (14), a young Ugandan swimmer and United Through Sports Young Leader, has co-founded the Angel Aquatics Foundation along with his supportive parents. This non-profit organization aims to empower children and also those with disabilities in Uganda by providing them with opportunities to enjoy, learn and excel in swimming.
