After seven days and the only world virtual youth festival, the UTS World Virtual youth Festival 2021 has come to an end. With a breath-taking Closing Ceremony from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Over the last seven days Saudi Arabia has been the centre for youth of all abilities coming together under the patronage of the IOC, IPC, SOI, SportAccord, GAISF and AIMS. Far over 100 organisations joined forces with one mission, to promote inclusion, non-discrimination, equality, and the youth of the world standing together towards a better tomorrow. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was granted the hosting rights for the UTS World Virtual Youth Festival 2021 from Riyadh to the world.Over 100 international organisations participated in the all-inclusive event, under the patronage of the IOC, IPC, SOI, GAISF and AIMS. The Opening Ceremony saw the IOC President Thomas Bach deliver an inspiring message to the kingdom congratulating Saudi’s vision 2030, promoting sport for all, inclusion and equality. On the 22nd of November the event was officially opened by IOC President Thomas Bach, IPC president Andrew Parsons, SOI CEO Mary Davis, among the speakers during the Launch Ceremony. In the weekend prior to the Launch, four live workshops were broadcasted as part of the seven-day event, which is being hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
