Three ways to get involved with United Through Sports
There are several ways to take part in the work of UTS, whether you want to fund youth participation, work with us as an organisation, volunteer your time or join an eligible programme.
Partner with UTS
UTS works with organisations across international sport, government, business, civil society and local communities. Partnerships can take different forms depending on the organisation and programme involved.
Private sector
Businesses can work with us through sponsorship, employee volunteering, in-kind contributions, travel or equipment partnerships.
Governments & NGOs
Government bodies and NGOs can work with UTS on youth participation, delegate selection, national programmes, safeguarding-aligned delivery and community activities.
Private sector
Organising committees, host cities and sports bodies can work with UTS to include youth participation, Youth General Assemblies and Main Stage opportunities within major sporting events.
Volunteer
Volunteers can contribute time and practical skills to UTS activities during major sporting events and throughout the year. Potential areas include assembly activities, access assistance, translation, photography, digital work and event-related roles. Some roles may require safeguarding checks, training or an induction before participation.
Volunteer todayJoin us
Young people can apply to eligible UTS programmes and activities when applications are open. If you are 14–24, you can apply directly — you do not need a school or federation to nominate you. Programme opportunities may include Youth General Assemblies, Young Leaders activities, education events and other youth participation programmes.
