Aaliyan Khurram: The World’s Youngest Fight Promoter

“At 15 I became the World’s Youngest Fight Promoter and held my own combat sports events.”

Born and raised in the vibrant city of Bangkok, Thailand, Aaliyan grew up in a multicultural environment. The son of Pakistani Muslim immigrants who settled in Thailand over two decades ago, Aaliyan’s upbringing is rooted in diversity and cultural understanding, values that have shaped his foundation. From an early age, Aaliyan’s fascination with sport went far beyond entertainment. Like many children, he spent hours captivated by the spectacle of WWE, idolizing the likes of Randy Orton and John Cena. What began as playful imitation crafting cardboard championship belts and hosting mock matches in his bedroom later evolved into something much greater: a lifelong mission to connect, inspire, and empower others through sport.

A Journey Shaped by Passion

As Aaliyan grew older, his interests evolved from the world of professional wrestling to the disciplines of boxing and mixed martial arts. Inspired by icons such as Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, and Khabib Nurmagomedov, he became fascinated not only by their athletic prowess but by their character, their discipline, humility, and resilience.

At 15 years old, Aaliyan took a bold step into the world of sports promotion. What began as a personal passion quickly gained international recognition, earning him acknowledgements from both the International Federation of Muaythai Associations (IFMA) and the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF). This recognition cemented his place as the youngest fight promoter in the world, a title that reflected not just ambition, but a deep commitment to giving athletes and communities a platform.

Charity Champions: Fighting for a Cause

Aaliyan saw an opportunity to use sport as a force for good. As the CEO of Charity Champions, he built a platform that combines the thrill of combat sports with the heart of humanitarianism.

Through Charity Champions, Aaliyan and his team have organized large-scale boxing events that raise funds for causes ranging from youth empowerment to global relief efforts including support for communities affected by global crises. These events, now known for their electric atmosphere and strong sense of purpose, have raised significant funds and brought hundreds of people together under one shared belief: that sport can make the world better.

Values Rooted in Inclusion and Safety

For Aaliyan, sport is also about connection, respect, and safety. Growing up surrounded by athletes of different backgrounds and abilities, he has seen firsthand how sport can bridge divides and create opportunities for everyone, regardless of where they come from.

He is deeply passionate about making combat sports safer and more inclusive, advocating for improved medical standards, fair opportunities for athletes, and environments that celebrate diversity and respect. His involvement with United Through Sports (UTS) reflects his belief that sport is a universal language, one that teaches values of equality, teamwork, and compassion.

Looking Ahead

At just 19, Aaliyan has already built an extraordinary legacy from a young boy in Bangkok dreaming of championship belts to a globally recognized promoter and youth leader. His story is one of creativity, perseverance, and impact.

Aaliyan continues to prove that sport is far more than competition; it’s a bridge between cultures, a catalyst for inclusion, and a platform for change.

“Sport gave me confidence, community, and purpose. I want every young person regardless of their background to feel the same.” Aaliyan Khurram
